The Beggar
By Sally Condon

I need to stop to truly see, All God's children surrounding me. If in me God's light exists, I will know His wondrous bliss.

The world is just a big fast race, We never stop to see his grace. Our life is passing, So fast each day, We don't have time, To know the way.

The way is, that, of God above, To help our brother, and show him love.

We pass a beggar on the street, Looking for a bite to eat, But we're to busy to relaize, That this is Jesus in disguise.

Help our brother in his need, And this will be a real good deed, This will also let God know, That we love our brother so.

If we have loved, Then we are blessed, And we will earn, Our eternal rest.
